Pia Pownall is a New York-based expressionistic painter whose works often blur the line between abstraction and the natural world.

She paints landscapes that are both real and emotional, always with a focus on the Duality that exist in all things: the pretty and the ugly, the light and the dark, the ideal and the reality. 

 

Her paintings have sold to private collectors in Sweden, New York, Miami, Palm Springs and Brazil.
